I started my college career at Portland State University and transferred to the University of Oregon during my sophomore year. I knew right away that I wanted to study business so as soon as I was able to I applied to the Lundquist College of Business. While studying at LCB I focused on and received by BS in Business Marketing and minored in Multimedia Design.

I really can't choose one defining moment in my life that made me realize what "I wanted to be when I grew up". I just know that I'm passionate about helping small businesses succeed through creative and strategic marketing.

Whenever I find myself stuck on a project there's a few places I turn to. My number 1 go-to is Pinterest. I could spend hours doing research and gathering ideas for a project on the platform. Another resource I use is Instagram -- the power of hashtags is astounding! One more of my favorite spots for ideas is through the Facebook groups I'm a part of, particularly The Rising Tide Society.

"Everything is Figureoutable" - Marie Forleo This quote really resonated with me because I already held the belief that a person can handle any challenge as long as they did their research, brainstormed solutions and developed contingency plans. Once I watched Marie Forleo's keynote I instantly fell in love with her outlook. Her word's always make their way back to me when I need a boost of confidence.

I'd say that a point of weakness that I've struggled with is not believing in my talents. To overcome this self-doubt I try to take a step back and acknowledge the positive results that has come out of the work I've produced. A strength that I possess is the ability to quickly turn-around projects while maintaining a high level of quality. I've learned to prioritize tasks based on two aspects, the deadline and the amount of time I believe it will take me to complete it without compromising quality. With a steady balance of both, I'm able to manage multiple assignments and ensure they'll exceed expectations.

I believe that teams that can learn to work well together can produce amazing results. Having a diverse set of eyes on a project opens up new possibilities and can grow each individual's professional mind-set. A couple tools that I've found to be effective towards accomplishing team projects are G Suite and Trello. A major concept I learned back in college that stuck with me is that communication is the key. As long as teams can effectively communicate and listen to each other while providing constructive criticism they can solve any problem.
